Your Cape Town City Tour begins at the Castle of Good Hope (better known locally as simply “the castle”, the oldest occupied building in South Africa). On route to our next stop the District Six Museum we take in the sites of the city’s largest public square the Grand Parade as well as City Hall. Company’s Gardens which houses the South African national gallery for the art enthusiast and also the South African Museum for those interested in both our natural and cultural history gives us 2 more convenient optional visits.
The nearby Greenmarket Square situated right in the centre of the CBD gives you the opportunity to see and purchase some African arts, crafts and clothing whilst mingling with the locals. We then head over to the outskirts of the City and visit the Bo-Kaap formally known as the Malay quarter before a short drive up to Signal hill to get another view of the Mother City. Our return from the heights of Signal Hill will take us through Sea-point and Green point.
